Gold Bar

My good friend Eloise and I decided to buy some gold, for the fun (and diversification) of it. We wanted to hold real gold in our hands, but buying physical gold is a pain and storing it is risky, so we just bought some gold shares on Vanguard. We still wanted to hold a gold bar, though.
Turns out Amazon sells fake gold bars that are not only stamped with roughly the amount of gold she and I bought, but cost way less. The downside is that they also weigh way less. But you know what doesn’t weigh less, and is also cheap? Tungsten, which Amazon also sells. We bought two different sets, opened the fake gold bar (the bottom pulls right out), super-glued the tungsten into it, and closed it back up.
The result is less than the correct weight, so we put some extra tungsten under the bar to fake this photo:
