| Bon Voyage Party (Jennifer Alden)
|
|
 On Saturday, January 6th, there was a Bon Voyage / Engagement party for
Lawrence and Jennifer at Jennifer and Sue's house. Sue put the whole thing
together, and it was the best party either of us had ever been to. So many
people we loved were there, and it really meant a lot to us that everyone came,
especially the people who had to come so far to be there. It was a bittersweet
night for both of us - we went from laughing hysterically when Shawn and Patty
brought us the recipe for a British desert called "spotted dick" (along with
some interesting accessories we won't go into here)
to some tearful goodbyes after midnight when we
realized that we wouldn't be seeing most of our friends again for quite a
while. We couldn't have asked for a better sendoff. We took a bunch of
pictures.

| Party at Jennifer's House This Saturday (Lawrence Kesteloot)
|

| There will be a party at Jennifer's house this Saturday the 26th of August. It
will be mostly swing-dancers, and will potentially degenerate into a game of Beer Trek. We have to go
to a wedding that afternoon, so the party will probably start around 8pm. It's
potluck, bring whatever food or drink you want. Jennifer lives at 1624
Sacramento Street #3 between Polk and Larkin. Parking is impossible, so be
prepared to pay around $10 or take Muni.
